OUR CONCEPT
Katong Kitchen is a halal-certified restaurant serving international cuisine, with a focus on Peranakan favourites, influenced by the area’s heritage. The restaurant’s dishes also extend to Asian, local Chinese and modern Western Fare.
Adorned with panels of Peranakan motifs, Katong Kitchen’s modern interior gently reflects the Peranakan culture apparent in the surrounding Katong district. The restaurant revels in a nostalgic setting with its wooden flooring, tables and chairs. Exuding warm vibes, Katong Kitchen makes for the perfect place for cosy gatherings with family, co-workers and friends.
OUR CUISINE
Start off the meal with cold seafood selections, nestled on a grand fixture filled with ice. Slurp a few oysters to start the meal on the right note or bask in the sweet and plump assortment of crabs, mussels, prawns and scallops, available during dinners on the weekends.
A trip to Katong Kitchen wouldn’t be complete without tasting the Katong Kitchen Signatures such as the distinctive Ayam Buah Keluak and Laksa. Savour the fragrant, succulent chicken pieces that have been marinated with assorted spices. Diners can also enjoy making their own Rojak and Kueh Pie Tee at the ‘Do It Yourself’ stations.
For all sweet tooths, the Durian Pengat aims to steal the hearts of all durian fans. Served in a shot glass, it is filled with creamy, luscious durian puree prepared daily with fresh durian meat. Also, look out for the Chempedak Crème Brulee, which often makes an appearance during special occasion and festivities. Besides the signature desserts, diners can also indulge in the wide array of western and local desserts at the buffet line.
